Is education your path to true happiness?
In my opinion, it depends on what YOUR interests are and what you are talented in. For example, many people say that I am pretty good in both education and music. It turns out that I do not mind those subjects at all. That's whay, as a carrer when I have to choose for a carrer, I want to be both a doctor and a musician.

When I grow up I guess I would like to be an artist, so I don't really know whether or not education is the happy path of life for me. Education sort of makes me feel like this: TT_TT.
ReplyDeletewell, the process of being educated can definately lead to a life of misery. with an 8-hour school day, and a ton of homework everyday, who can ever be happy?? but most importantly, how is it possible to even have a life? i have seen kids and even adults complain about this problem almost all my life... and this is exactly why i wish to discuss how wrong this view actually is!!
ReplyDeletefirstly, people should realize that instead of complaining, kids and adults should concentrate on their work so it can be finished quickly and still have time to do things that THEY consider important. secondly, education is part of life. without it, we would be the same as the cavemen. in this highly sophicticated and educated society, no one can survive by being a caveman. And third, aside from the inumerable knowledge gained from education, education actually ensures a highly secured future. this means a lot of money, respect, and of course a secured life. with all that in hand, anyone can fulfill whatever their hearts desire. And when one has the ability to fullfil their desires, they will surely be happy. Unless they turn to hindu and buddhist teachings and renounce all their desires in the first place... but thats another story. either way, my point is YES, education IS the path to happiness!! maybe education itself isn't so pleasurable and fun but it can definately lead to true happiness!! so everyone........... GET EDUCATED!!
I agree with your sister Shruti. If there was no education there wouldn't be many jobs that can help others like doctors, teachers, dentists, etc. I most definitely think that if people are always complaining, they would finish their work and be over with it. In the end, it usually ends up that education leads to a happy and steady life. <(''<)-really cool picture right?
ReplyDeleteyah i agree with megan
ReplyDeleteTell your sis that she wrote a nice speech
@Laiba-Hahaha! Nice speeck aye? I do agree. She is able to convince people very well, whether it is job offers or just making a small decision! Well, she IS in college, she should be a good writer!
ReplyDelete@Megan-What picture?....the one you made with your keyboard keys?...What the heck is that?????????? ;-)
@Connyr-I thought you said you wnated to be a pianist in like 2nd or third grade! What happened now! Now, when I ask you in school, it seems like you hate piano! What's the history?
ReplyDelete@My sister-Everyone is agreeing and saying you made a nice long speeck, which you did! I do agree with you actually, though I do like school. School takes up your entire day, because 6-7 hours outside in school, then anoher 3 hours doing homewirk. Then, it's like your bedtime already!!! However, I do also agree that you should "GET EDUCATED!" :-)
